Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Sri Satyanarayana Swamy pooja is commonly observed by Hindus on a full moon day. However, there is no special day to perform this pooja. One can perform it on any occasion and festival. People perform this pooja to seek the blessings of Lord Vishnu for family and friends. On the day of Pooja, a priest tells the glorious story that Lord Vishnu told to sage Narada.
