Gruha Pravesam or House warming is a Hindu ritual performed before entering or settling down in a new house. This Pooja is performed to seek blessings from the deity so that all the family members enjoy good fortune and happiness. This is why everyone must perform this pooja before entering a new house. There are three types of Gruha Pravesam puja; Apoorva Gruha Pravesam, Sapoorva Gruha Pravesam, and Dwandhav Gruha Pravesam.
